Our Task

Akuntsu stepped in to identify and facilitate a strategic partnership between Filmmaster and leading Japanese stakeholders—creating the trust, alignment, and proposal foundation needed for both bids. We supported cross-cultural negotiations, clarified expectations, and helped craft a collaborative approach that positioned the team as serious contenders. Though the bids ultimately placed second for both the Opening & Closing Ceremonies and the Torch Relay, the process was a success in itself—demonstrating Akuntsu’s ability to open doors and forge high-level partnerships in one of the world’s most competitive event landscapes.
